Just surfing on facebook, I came to this pole about "what is your primary instant messaging client?" voted by 1000 facebook users all over world(i know its not a big...). Facebook is a network started for universities that is now used as a place for socializing all over world (Most users are from USA). The poll is interesting because it is conducted on a network that is , kind of, educational and decent , and represents an image that may be found same all over USA if this survey is done country wide with more people answering the poll.American Online Messenger stands first with a very little difference from Windows Live/ MSN messenger and all others are so far away, yes AOL and Windows Live are hottest in USA.
